A bout has been made official for the upcoming Fastlane premium live event.
As announced on the September 25 episode of WWE Raw, John Cena is set to take on Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in a handicap match at Fastlane.
Originally, AJ Styles was set to team with Cena in the match, but he was hospitalized after being attacked by Sikoa and Uso on the September 22 episode of SmackDown. This prevented Styles from ever signing the contract for the bout.
This will be Cena's first time competing at a non WrestleMania/SummerSlam premium live event since 2018, when he teamed with Bobby Lashley against Kevin Owens and Elias at WWE Super Showdown. Cena last competed at a premium live event at WrestleMania 39, when he lost to Austin Theory.
Fightful will update fans if Cena is able to secure a partner for his match against and Uso and Sikoa at Fastlane.
