John Cena will be hanging up the jorts.

John Cena has wrestled at least one televised match every year in WWE since his debut in 2002, and in 2025 he will compete in his final matches. As announced at WWE Money in the Bank, Cena will embark on his retirement tour in 2025.

Speaking at the WWE Money in the Bank press conference, Cena said when he's done, he's done.

"Yes, the jorts will be retired. Man, just when they were coming back into fashion, too. I do want to make it perfectly clear that when I say I’m done competing, I am done. The uniform will be retired. You will see me in a suit and tie. I have no intention on being physical in anyway. No guest referring, no falling through an accidental table. None of that stuff. I will be a fan and an advocate, and that’s it," he stated.

Cena is set to compete in dozens of dates in 2025, including Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 41.
