John Silver will challenge for the gold at AEW Battle of the Belts VIII.
On the October 20 episode of AEW Rampage, John Silver, Brother Zay, and Kip Sabian clashed in a three-way match. The winner of the bout would earn a shot at Orange Cassidy's AEW International Championship at AEW Battle of the Belts VIII.
Silver, Zay, and Sabian threw everything they had at each other. The match broke down in chaos at one point, as Alex Reynolds and Evil Uno argued with The Butcher amd The Blade at ringside. In the end, Zay hit Sabian withh a Swanton Bomb. Silver took Zay out with a stiff kick and pinned Sabian for the win.
