Johnny Gargano Attacks Grayson Waller, Eddy Thorpe Debuts | NXT Fight Size

Here's your Fight Size update following WWE NXT on March 28, 2023.

- Grayson Waller came to the ring to sign the contract, and he discussed his feud with Johnny Gargano. The former NXT Champion snuck into the ring in disguise and took the fight to Waller until they were separated.

- Eddy Thorpe made his NXT debut in a singles match against Myles Borne, and he scored a decisive victory.

- Indi Hartwell defeated Sol Ruca and Ivy Nile to qualify for the NXT Women's Championship Ladder Match at NXT Stand & Deliver.

- 20 men competed in a battle royal to determine the fourth challenger in the NXT North American Championship match at NXT Stand & Deliver. In one early highlight, Odyssey Jones eliminated Dijak, who lashed out by attacking Jones and rolling him back into the ring. Jinder Mahal capitalized by eliminating Jones. Later in the bout, Charlie Dempsey eliminated both Hank Walker and Drew Gulak. Dijak overpowered Apollo Crews and eliminated him. The final four were Axiom, Nathan Frazier, Dabba-Kato, and Charlie Dempsey. Axiom eliminated Dempsey, so the match came down to Frazer and Axiom. Axiom ultimately won the match. NXT North American Champion Wes Lee, Dragon Lee, Ilja Dragunov, and JD McDonagh stared each other down after the bout.

- In a promo, NXT Stand & Deliver hosts Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) previewed NXT Stand & Deliver in multiple segments throughout the show.

- Chase U hyped Tyler Bate up ahead of his match with Von Wagner. Bate vowed to bring a win home for the university. During the bout, Robert Stone tried to interfere, and Thea Hail took the fight to him.Bate then scored the win. match at NXT Stand & Deliver. Fallon Henley got frustrated with Kiana James as she kept keeping secrets. The Schism sent a message to Chase U and previewed the changes they would make to Chase U if they win at NXT Stand & Deliver.

- Roxanne Perez announced that she was cleared to compete. While Shawn Michaels initially refused to let her compete at NXT Stand & Deliver, he changed his mind and added her to the match.

- Elektra Lopez picked up a decisive win against Valentina Feroz.

- A Prime Target segment highlighted the NXT Championship match between Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes at NXT Stand & Deliver.

- Hank Waller took on Drew Gulak, who was accompanied to the ring by Charlie Dempsey. Walker delivered an impressive performance, but Dempsey helped Gulak clinch the win.

- Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn looked forward to their match with NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Kiana James and Fallon Henley and stated that the champions' fates were already sealed.

- - Josh Briggs told Brooks Jensen they'd get through whatever happened next, as Kiana James had something to tell him. James and Fallon Henley arrived, and James revealed that she scored them a chance to get added to the tag team title match at NXT Stand & Deliver. Later in the show, D'Angelo and "Stacks" defeated Briggs and Jensen to prevent them from getting added to the tag team title match at NXT Stand & Deliver. After the bell, Kiana James refused to tell Brooks Jensen the truth; insteadm she kissed him.

- Eddy Thorpe commented on his debut.

- Dijak made it clear that he intends to get revenge on Odyssey Jones.

- Roxanne Perez commented on her return and stated that nothing would stop her from keeping what she loves.

- Grayson Waller stated that Johnny Gargano's decision to make their bout an Unsanctioned Match was the biggest mistake he has ever made.

- In a NXT Exclusive, Eddy Thorpe stated that he is coming for everything, as he has sights set on the gold.

- In a NXT Exclusive, Indi Hartwell discussed her win and expressed her confidence that her time is now.
