The Mayor of Slam Town is returning at Slammiversary.
It has been since April, that Impact Wrestling viewers have seen Johnny Impact in a wrestling match. He last faced Kongo Kongo at a January set of tapings which aired April 19th. Impact Wrestling recently confirmed the report of Johnny Impact's return in this tweet.
Slammiversary will take place July 22nd in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Since his last appearance in an Impact Wrestling ring, he competed on Survivor season 37 which should air later this year and he also married Taya Valkyrie on Saturday. Both Valkyrie and Johnny Impact have been part of the Impact Wrestling roster and the upcoming season four of Lucha Underground. Valkyrie has still appeared on recent episodes of Impact Wrestling in Johnny Impact's time away.
