AEW and NJPW officially confirm two matches for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
AEW and NJPW confirmed that Jon Moxley will defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Tetsuya Naito at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30. The bout was set up at NJPW Dominion when Moxley challenged anyone to step to him, and Naito answered the call.
Moxley defeated Naito to win the title at NJPW Windy City Riot.
Plus, Zack Sabre Jr vs. Orange Cassidy has been confirmed for Forbidden Door. ZSJ issued the challenge on Saturday's AEW Collision.
