Jon Moxley: 100% I Plan To Be At Wrestle Kingdom 14

Jon Moxley wants to wrestle at The Dome.

With All Elite Wrestling starting on TNT on Oct. 2 and moving to a more full-time schedule, the status of Jon Moxley and NJPW has come into question. Moxley is the current IWGP United States Champion, set to defend his title on Oct. 14 at NJPW King of Pro Wrestling against Juice Robinson in a No DQ match. Moxley's contract with NJPW reportedly runs through Wrestle Kingdom 14, and if he has his way, he will be at the Tokyo Dome in January 2020.

"100% I plan to be at the Tokyo Dome," Moxley told NJPW's website. "I don’t know who I’ll be facing, whether I’m still US Champion. But I’ve been in Wrestlemania, in the G1, and this is the next step. Anyone who’s anyone in Japan has competed in the Tokyo Dome, so I absolutely plan on being there."

Wrestle Kingdom 14 is scheduled for Jan. 4 and 5 with both events being held inside the Tokyo Dome. Moxley is currently sidelined with a MRSA infection, but is scheduled to appear on the premiere episode of AEW on TNT on Oct. 2.
