Jon Moxley Captures The IWGP United States Championship For A Second Time In Wild Texas Death Match

Jon Moxley is once again the IWGP United States Champion after he regained the title in violent fashion.

After being forced to relinquish the championship due to Typhoon Hagabis in October, Moxley returned to New Japan Pro-Wrestling shortly before the end of the decade in order to make the challenge to Lance Archer for the championship he never lost.

The Texas Deathmatch, which Moxley requested was an intense affair. At one point, Lance Archer put the EBD Claw on Moxley with a plastic bag over Jon's face. In the end, it was a Death Rider DDT through two tables which secured the victory and the second championship reign for Jon Moxley.

Now, Jon Moxley heads into night two of Wrestle Kingdom to defend his newly-won championship against Juice Robinson, the man he initially defeated to win the championship back in 2019 and a man who is now one half of the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, to settle their score once and for all.
