Jon Moxley captured the AEW World Title at AEW Revolution, defeating Chris Jericho in the main event.
The bout was a bloody affair with Moxley biting the stitches of Jericho and Jericho going after the bad eye of Moxley. The challenger had to fight off the entire Inner Circle, even surviving a belt shot by Sammy Guevara. The end saw Moxley reveal that his eye was just fine and that he could see. After the reveal, Moxley scored with the Paradigm Shift to put Jericho away.

Moxley is now the second-ever AEW World Champion and this marks his first reign as champion.
After his victory, Moxley cut a promo where he said the title belongs to the fans because they are the energy that drives the promotion and were able to keep him pushing forward. Moxley said he would knock down any potential challenger, but only after he knocks back some whiskey.
