Jon Moxley will be in action on the April 15 episode of AEW Dynamite when he defends the AEW World Title against Jake Hager. The bout will be contested in an empty arena under no holds barred rules.
The rivalry between Hager and Moxley goes back to when Hager powerbombed Moxley off the stage and through a table as Moxley was in the middle of his feud with Chris Jericho going into AEW Revolution. On last Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, Moxley confronted Hager and seemed to get the better of him with the Paradigm Shift, but Hager was quickly up, choking Moxley with the arm triangle.
AEW is selling that the two men won't have a match on Dynamite, they will have a fight.
