Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson appeared on the January 4 episode of AEW Collision in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Rock N’ Roll Express, along with FTR's Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, was featured in a backstage segment. They apologized for a 2020 segment in which they assaulted Gibson and Morton.
The Outrunners, Truth Magnum, and Turbo Floyd entered the frame. They accused Morton and Gibson of holding out on gas money they owed them from an event in 1982. Morton and Gibson apologized, everyone shook hands, and FTR was off for their match, where they would team up with Adam Copeland.

Rated FTR would win that match and afterward, Morton and Gibson appeared tied up backstage by Jon Moxley. Floyd and Magnum tried to save them but they got taken out by Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir.
Copeland and FTR then came to save them all to close out the show.
