Jon Moxley: Will Ospreay And I Have Barely Begun

Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay are just getting started.

Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay first clashed at NJPW Windy City Riot 2022 in a bout that was a bit controversial due to the ending where it appeared Ospreay kicked out. They were set to meet in a singles match at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18, but David Finlay inserted himself into the mix.

Speaking to NJPW, Moxley assured fans that he and Ospreay aren't finished with each other.

"Well, it’s lucky that referee isn’t here anymore. If he had stayed, he should’ve been fired. Myself and Will Ospreay went to war all over Chicago in 2022. We gave all we had, blood sweat and tears and braincells. At the end of the day I had my hand raised, but I think we all know that Will had a little bit more in the tank. If Will wasn’t done, I wasn’t gonna be done. So, if Will wants to keep it going, if he just wants to call that chapter one, then let’s just say that was chapter one. Just the beginning, just the preamble. Will Ospreay and I have barely even begun," he said.

The winner of the triple threat match between Ospreay, Moxley, and Finlay will be recognized as the IWGP Global Champion.

Moxley is set to compete in another triple threat match on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite as he meets Jay White and Swerve Strickland in the league finals of the AEW Continental Classic.
