Josh Alexander loses his debut match for AEW.
Just a few months after wrapping up his stint with TNA Wrestling, Josh Alexander finally put the free agency rumors to bed on the April 16 edition of AEW Dynamite, appearing as the wild card opponent to face 'Hangman' Adam Page in a Owen Hart Cup tournament match.
In the end, Alexander walked away from his first match with disappointment, as he lost to Adam Page after getting trapped in a pinning manuever.

After the match, Page went face-to-face with his next opponent in the Owen Hart Cup tournament, Kyle Fletcher. After gaining the upper hand on Fletcher, Don Callis whispered something in Josh Alexander's ear at ringside. This prompted Alexander to rush the ring and attack Page from behind, seemingly aligning him with the Don Callis Family.
