JR Kratos Says He's In Talks To Compete In A Bare Knuckle Fight

JR Kratos might be in line for a fight outside of a wrestling ring.

The NWA and NJPW star recently sat down with Andrew Thompson and discussed a number of topics including his love for MMA. Kratos said that he is constantly practicing and honing his craft, even training with Josh Barnett on occasion. Kratos has taken part in seven of Barnett's Bloodsport events, and now might be looking to showcase those skills on a different platform.

"What's funny is, and you'll be the first to hear it, is I'm in talks right now, maybe, to do a bare knuckle fight. So, we'll see. But MMA, I mean, yeah, I've thought about it. I go to all the fights out here when I can. I got a bunch of friends that do it. I love it, but there's just something about bare knuckle that I just want to do it. I've been talking to the guy that runs the [BKFC], so we'll see. If the stars align, I would love to do it. I think it's going to happen in the near future for me. I want to do it, so it's just a matter of time," Kratos said.
