Juice Robinson is looking at the positives of facing Jox Moxley.
Former 3-time WWE Intercontinental Champion Jon Moxley took the wrestling world by storm when he appeared at All Elite Wrestling's Double Or Nothing show in Las Vegas and took out both Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega. Moxley went on to do a revealing interview with Jericho and was announced for AEW's Fyter Fest and Northeast Wrestling's show in August. Moxley is also slated to take on Juice Robinson for the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship on the final day of the Best Of The Super Juniors tournament. Moxley has not mentioned much of the match outside of the promo he shared on Twitter to reveal that he is coming to Japan.
Juice Robinson commented on the forthcoming match when he joined the New Japan Pro Wrestling English podcast with Chris Charlton. Robinson stated that regardless of what happens at the conclusion of this match, he'll be elevated and is expecting a hard hitting brawl against the man he once knew as Dean Ambrose.
“I am expecting a brawl, all over the place. I’m not expecting a five star beautiful, technical match. I’m expecting a down and dirty fight that’s gonna… nobody’s gonna feel good the next day. I don’t think either of us will be the same after in [a] way that I think it’s gonna… anyway that this goes it’s gonna elevate me." Juice expressed. "If he beats me in the middle of the ring at Ryogoku, it's not gonna be for lack of heart and nuts, and the people are gonna be able to see that. If I beat him, he’s a huge superstar. I mean, we were talking about it the other day -- was it me and you [Chris Charlton] talking about the difference between him and Chris Jericho? No it wasn’t… Who’s hot? Ambrose is the same right? I would say. He’s a huge name, so, for me to get to wrestle him at Ryogoku in the semi-main event, it’s gonna be elevate me no matter what. As long as I remember my boots. I just gotta show up, and I’m gonna outdo him, I’m gonna out-punch-him-in-the-face.”
