CM Punk was amused by the jury listening to the Art of Wrestling podcast.
Tuesday marked the start of the defamation case between CM Punk, Colt Cabana, and WWE doctor Chris Amann who claims Cabana and CM Punk damaged his reputation with falsehoods said on Cabana's podcast The Art of Wrestling.
During the trial today, Amann gave testimony that he disputes CM Punk's claims that he did not treat a staph infection before the 2014 Royal Rumble which was CM Punk's last match in WWE.
Gregory Pratt from the Chicago Tribune was in the court room for some of the proceedings.
According to Pratt, the jury listened to the episode of the podcast where CM Punk made the claims.
On timing, the doctor is likely to continue testifying tomorrow from what I heard. No idea how long the trial will go, but they were being thorough in going thru stuff. The jury heard all of the controversial podcast episode, including Cabana’s plugs and upcoming events

CM Punk was reportedly amused by the content of the podcast being played in the context of the court room.
Pratt clarified that CM Punk was serious most of the time while in court.
The CM Punk appearance on Art of Wrestling was actually two episodes. The first CM Punk explained his departure from WWE and in the second episode the two wrestlers addressed questions from the audience.
CM Punk is preparing to fight Mike Jackson at UFC 225 on June 9th.
Fightful Wrestling will continue to cover the developments in the case.
