Justin Roberts On Bryan Danielson Choking Jon Moxley With A Tie At AEW Dynamite Grand Slam: I Feel His Pain

Justin Roberts had flashbacks.

On the June 7, 2010, episode of WWE Raw, Bryan Danielson (then known as Daniel Bryan) choked Justin Roberts with his tie during the debut of the Nexus. WWE then fired Danielson, though he returned at WWE SummerSlam that year. Over a decade later, Danielson called back to the incident by choking Jon Moxley with a tie at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.

Roberts, who now works as a ring announcer for AEW, was at ringside during the attack. He then took to Instagram and posted a picture of Danielson choking Moxley. In the post, he simply wrote that he felt Moxley's pain.

Danielson and Roberts previously recreated the choking spot after AEW Dynamite went off the air on November 3, 2021.
