Asuka & Kairi Sane won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships on the January 26 episode of WWE SmackDown, defeating Katana Chance & Kayden Carter.
The finish saw Sane hit the Insane elbow on Chance for the victory.

This marks the second reign as WWE Women's Tag Team Champions for the Kabuki Warriors, Chance & Carter won the titles on the December 18 episode of WWE Raw. They made two successful title defenses.
