Kamille expresses her interest in facing Steph De Lander and Jordynne Grace.
Kamille has reigned supreme since she won the NWA World Women's Championship at NWA When Our Shadows Fall in June 2021. As of this writing, her reign spans over 790 days, and she has beaten a number of noteworthy contenders, including Taya Valkyrie and Chelsea Green.
Speaking with Scott Mitchell for PWMania.com, NWA World Women's Champion Kamille was asked whether there are any opponents she would like to face in the future. She responded by naming Stepph De Lander and Jordynne Grace.
“Steph De Lander, and Jordynne Grace I never got in the ring with and it would be super cool. They’re two girls I would love to defend my title against," Kamille said.
Kamille was also asked about the second night of NWA 75. On the first night of the show, the Mildred Burke Invitational Gauntlet will determine Kamille's challenger for the following night. When asked whether she hoped to face anyone specifically, Kamille noted that defending the title against Allysin Kay would be interesting.
“It’s going to be whoever wins the gauntlet. They did announce that Allysin Kay is going to be in the gauntlet. It’s been quite a while since she’s been here, and she was once the champ herself, so that would be a super interesting match. I’m not sure who’s even in the gauntlet, but I have faced every type of wrestler, so I’m ready for anything," Kamille said.
In recent months, Steph De Lander has competed for various companies on the independent scene. She recently wrestled on both nights of IMPACT's Down Under Tour.
Fightful Select reported that Jordynne Grace entered free agency following the post-Under Siege IMPACT TV tapings.
