Kane Has Broken Ankle, According To WWE

Kane may be out of action. 

Before the Smackdown Tag Team Championship match at Extreme Rules, the Bludgeon Brothers attacked Team Hell No and apparently Kane's ankle was broken. After the attack, Daniel Bryan faced the Bludgeon Brothers on his own but Kane came out with a walking boot on his left foot.

At WWE Extreme Rules, Kane suffered an injury at the hands of The Bludgeon Brothers. Despite returning to action to help his Team Hell No tag team partner Daniel Bryan, X-rays taken on The Devil’s Favorite Demon later revealed that he has suffered a broken ankle.

Team Hell No was not successful in the Championship match. The following is an excerpt from the Fightful live coverage of Extreme Rules after Kane came into the match. 

Kane comes out with a walking boot on his injured ankle. Harper and Bryan take their battle into the ring, Kane tags in and he cracks Harper with a few strikes before nailing Rowan with a choke slam. Kane follows that up by nailing Harper with a choke slam, Harper recovers and he kicks Kane in the injured leg. Bryan tags in and he nails Harper with a missile drop kick, Bryan then attacks Harper with the Yes Kicks.

Rowan tags in and he shoves Bryan into the injured Kane before landing a spin kick, Harper tags in and they nail Bryan with their finisher for the three count.

Winners: The Bludgeon Brothers (Harper & Rowan)
