Kane May Still Do Special Appearances In WWE If Elected Mayor

Kane could be seen on WWE television as Mayor.

Earlier this year, Kane won the republican nomination for the mayoral election of Knox County, Tennessee and the general election comes this November. Kane also recently returned to WWE television as he reunited with his Team Hell No teammate Daniel Bryan. In an interview with Newsweek, Kane responded to comments by his political opponent  Linda Haney about him performing for WWE while running for mayor.

Kane said some may think he's distracted by wrestling but if he was elected he wouldn't wrestle full time but might still make appearances.

“I may still do a few special things. I’ve done it for 23 years now and have quite a history, it’ll always be part of my life. I think the question is if I am taking (the election) seriously, and of course I am," said Kane

Kane's opponent said she was surprised to see Kane on Smackdown wrestling with Daniel Bryan.

Team Hell No will be wrestling the Bludgeon Brothers at Extreme Rules for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship. Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for the event.
