Kane Returns To WWE, Added To Handicap Tag Match At TLC

In something completely out of left field, Kane made his return to WWE programing tonight on Raw.

Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman were battling one another in a steel cage match in the main event. Stipulations earlier on the show were made for this match -- if Reigns won, Strowman would be removed from the match. If Strowman were successful, a fifth person would be added to their side. Reigns was looking to score the win and finish the match when suddenly, a new version of Kane's music hit. He emerged from under the ring, chokeslammed Reigns twice, then left him for Strowman, who finished him off and pinned him to win the match.

This officially makes it The Shield vs. The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, Braun Strowman and Kane at TLC in a tables, ladders and chairs match.

Kane was last seen as a member of the Smackdown brand last December as a babyface, teaming with American Alpha to defeat the Wyatt Family in a six man tag team match. Kane has since then been off TV, focusing most of this year on his run as mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.

It's currently unknown if Kane has returned full time, or just on a part-time basis.
