Karen Jarrett provides some insight into her arrival in All Elite Wrestling.
Jarrett made her debut for the company on the May 17, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite, as she aided her husband, Jeff, Jay Lethal, and Satnam Singh in their attack on FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler). The two sides were engaged in a heated feud at the time, as they were set to face off for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.
While appearing on the latest episode of AEW Unrestricted, Jarrett said that the idea to bring her into the company was a last minute decision, noting that Dax Harwood kept pushing for it.
“Well, it was very last minute when it was decided on. I thought it was going to happen maybe sooner than it did when stuff happened with The Acclaimed. I know different ideas were tossed around backstage and Jeff said, ‘I think this may happen, I think that might happen.’ It was actually Dax that kept pushing for it, from what I’ve heard, so we have him to thank for me showing up. I think it’s like 36 hours before we're told, ‘Hey, we need you there.’”
Jarrett remains with the company to this day, as she's a manager for Jeff Jarrett and his entire faction.
