Karrion Kross has finally made his return.
During a segment between the Garganos and Damian Priest, the former NXT Champion appeared for the first time in months on NXT. Kross immediately set his sights on Priest, attacking him from behind and powerbombing him off the stage. Kross would then leave the CWC and head to his car where Scarlett was in.

Opening tonight's episode of NXT, current NXT Champion Finn Balor was set to cut a promo before he got interrupted by a number of NXT stars such as Damian Priest, Kyle O'Reilly and Pete Dunne. In the end, Scarlett, on Kross' behalf, appeared to give Balor a message. Balor walked out of the stage, saying that he's ready for when Kross returns from injury.
Kross suffered a shoulder injury during a match against Keith Lee for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: XXX, which Kross won. Both Kross and WWE confirmed the injury after the event, and Kross vacated the title as a result of the injury. Teasers of Kross' return had been airing on NXT television in recent weeks.
