Karrion Kross says he is not an ambush artist when it comes to promos.
Since forming The Final Testament, Karrion Kross has tried to be the devil on the shoulder for several wrestlers in WWE, including The Miz, Xavier Woods and more in recent months. This has included reminding talent of their insecurities and worst moments.
While speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Kross was asked if he talks to other wrestlers before bringing up their insecurities in promos, with Kross noting that he isn't 'a bullshit artist'.
"Oh yeah. I’m not an ambush artist, I don’t like people who do that. If I ever have to deal with people who do that, I usually have to throw them down a flight stairs. Find the nearest staircase and somehow they do a Logan Paul backflip down the stairs. I don’t know how that happens. I’m not one of those people at all. I’ll get up with the people and say, ‘Hey, is there a period of your career we can highlight in this particular realm and bring to light.’ I think it’s very carny. If you’re secure with what you’re doing and you believe you’re worth it, you won’t try to ambush somebody you’re working with. It’s weak guy shit."
When Chris noted that nobody wants their worst moments pointed out, Kross mentioned that it turns into somewhat of a negotiation.
"No, they don’t. It’s a bit of a negotiation. That’s how I approach bringing that stuff to light."
Karrion's latest project has been The Miz and convincing him to turn on R-Truth. You can read more about that here.
Elsewhere in the same interview, Kross discussed a possible return to WWE NXT. You can read more about that here.
