Kaun On Shane Taylor Promotions Coming To AEW/ROH: Never Say Never

During an interview with Jofo In The Ring, Kaun talked about breaking away from Shane Taylor Promotions and if there is potential in the group coming to AEW.

After signing a contract to be a part of the Ring of Honor promotion, Kaun has made appearances in AEW and ROH with Toa Liona and Brian Cage in Tully Blanchard Enterprises. The group made their debut at the ROH SuperCard of Honor event April 1, 2022.

In the interview, Kaun was asked about breaking away from Shane Taylor Promotions.

"Those are my boys. They congratulated me. We're all brothers and everything was fucking great. I know we talked about it, I think maybe Shane talked about it before too. The goal was to ultimately go somewhere together, but also we realized that's bringing four or five people into a company, which logistically might not happen. But if someone goes here, someone goes there, that's still STP, that's still family," said Kaun.

The former ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion elaborated by saying that, at the end of the day, wrestling is a business, and he had to take the next step.

"This is a business, so at the end of the day, when people are like, hey they see an opportunity for you at AEW, I'm like maybe other dudes have conversations too, but like if you make it as far as me, they also have opportunities at IMPACT, MLW, again, it's a business. I needed to take that step, which I did. So no hard feelings. We're all great, I talked to everybody," he added.

Kaun was asked about the potential of Shane Taylor Promotions coming to AEW and if there was a place for them there.

"I definitely think there's a place," Kaun responded. "There's factions here, and there's particular factions that are missing that kind of gusto, if I can say. But we'll see. You can't say never say never in this business. You never know what the fuck's gonna happen."

He finished by talking about a potential storyline in ROH between Tully Blanchard Enterprises and Shane Taylor Promotions and how it could be a "money storyline" according to the interviewer. Kaun had responded that he does not have the pencil and that anybody could fantasy book these storylines but it ultimately comes down to the man who signs people's paychecks.
