Kazuchika Okada goes out a winner.

Kazuchika Okada competed in his final NJPW match at NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo, pinning Callum Newman with a Rain Maker in a multi-man bout.

Okada teamed with Toru Yano, YOSHI-HASHI, Hirooki Goto & Tomohiro Ishii to defeat Callum Newman, Jeff Cobb, Matt Riddle, Great-O-Khan & Francesco Akira.

The crowd chanted "Okada" before and after the bout.

After the match, Okada addressed the audience, thanked them, and said he would see them again.

It was announced on January 18 that Okada would be leaving NJPW when his contract expired at the end of January. He wrestled a handful of match in February that he was previously announced for.

Okada has been with NJPW since 2007 and is one of the most decorated wrestlers in NJPW history as a multi-time IWGP World Heavyweight (two times) and IWGP Heavyweight Champion (five times). He is the longest reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion of all time. He has made a handful of appearances for AEW, notably wrestling at both AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door events.
