Kazuchika Okada reigns again.
Kazuchika Okada is the new IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, defeating Jay White in the main event of NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.
Okada finished off White with a Rainmaker after hitting White with his own Bladerunner followed by the cobra flowsion.
The bout saw both men survive the best the other man had including Okada kicking out of Blade Runner and White kicking out of the Rainmaker.
After the match, White put his arm around Okada, seemingly showing a sign of respect. Once White left the ringside area, Okada was confronted by Shingo Takagi, who challenged him for the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. Okada defeated Shingo to win the title at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16.

This marks Okada's second reign as IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. He is a former five-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion. White won the title at NJPW Dominion 2022 from Okada and made two successful title defenses.
