KC Navarro talks getting banged up in his opening round match with Tate Mayfairs in Super Strong Style 16.
Speaking to Irish Wrestling & Entertainment following his opening round match of the Progress Super Strong Style 16 tournament, KC discussed getting banged up in the match and how he was feeling after.
"I'm feeling a lot better now. For a while during the day, I was a little rocked by the interval. I was starting to feel better by the end of the show, it was a lot better. They were taking good care of me here. Got some sleep, I'm feeling a little better. I'm just really focused for tonight now. Yeah, it put me right to sleep. I got to give him that. I mean, Tate kind of called it. He said, KC's going to be KO'd. I've got to give it to him. He did it. I didn't see it coming. Maybe if I didn't get knocked out, maybe the result would have been different. But I have a chance for redemption tonight in this Battle Royale. So that's what I'm focused on now."
Luke Jacobs would end up winning the tournament, defeating Ricky Knight Jr. in the finals of the tournament.
