Alan Angels revisit his breakout match from 2020.
Kenny Omega and Alan Angels had a match in the early days of the pandemic that "set the internet on fire." Now, Tony Khan has made the rematch for the November 3 episode of AEW Dynamite ahead of Kenny taking on "Hangman" Adam Page at AEW Full Gear 2021.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Khan noted that the original bout between Angels and Omega, which took place on April 22, 2020, led to Angels getting hired by AEW.
Additionally, Khan said on Wrestling Observer Live that there will be a "logical replacement" for Jon Moxley against Orange Cassidy in the AEW World Title Eliminator tournament, but the replacement won't be revealed until the show. It was announced on Tuesday night that Moxley had entered inpatient alcohol treatment.
Finally, Samuray Del Sol (formerly Kalisto in WWE) and Aerostar have answered the FTR open challenge for the AAA World Tag Team Titles.
