Kenny Omega will face Brian Cage at AEW Maximum Carnage on January 15th.
The bout will be Omega's first AEW match since December 5, 2023 when he defeated Ethan Page on AEW Collision.
The bout was officially announced on the January 8th episode of AEW Dynamite after Omega was attacked by Cage, Lance Archer, and Kyle Fletcher. Will Ospreay made the save for Omega, who was looking for revenge on Don Callis.

Omega had his first match in over a year at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty, defeating Gabe Kidd.
