Kenny Omega has high praise for Juice Robinson.
On September 24, 2017, Kenny Omega defended the IWGP United States Championship against Juice Robinson at the company's Destruction In Kobe event. For many fans, this match was one of the reasons that Robinson was able to break out as a singles star within the company and go on to win the IWGP US title on three seperate occasions.
On the seven year anniversary of the match, Omega took to social media to reflect, saying that Robinson took him to the absolute limit.
"There is a very personal story surrounding this match that I’d love to tell but character count wouldn’t allow for it or do it justice here. Aside from all that, Juice took me to the absolute limit and this became the first time I had no choice but to use a Super OWA to get the job done. Juice ain’t no joke and he’d eventually solidify himself as a worthy US champ himself after this."

Robinson and Omega now both reside in All Elite Wrestling. The duo last shared the ring at AEW All In in 2023, as Omega teamed with Kota Ibushi and Adam Page to face Bullet Club Gold.
