Kenny Omega's history and playful rivalry with New Day is well documented, but he's got some kind words for Big E in particular
When speaking to Sports Illustrated recently, the NJPW star in Omega put over the trio. In particular, he singled out Big E as a talent who should be a world champion.
“They’re three of my favorite guys in the entire company [WWE]. They clearly know how to entertain, and they’re all great athletes.
When I see Big E, I clearly see someone who could be world champion. The guy is on another level. Kofi is one of those guys who is good in all situations and can challenge for all titles, and Xavier is another great athlete who is talented in the ring and confident on the mic.”
Big E has met singles success in the past, capturing the WWE Intercontinental Championship. When he got wind of Omega's quote, he seemed rather flattered by the news.
