KENTA says he doesn't need to have a match with CM Punk.
Fans have been speculating about a match between KENTA and Punk for years, as KENTA has called the former world champion out on multiple occasions. The buzz started swirling after the NJPW star tweeted that he was available on June 17, the day Punk will officially return to AEW with the premiere of AEW Collision.
The reigning NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion recently responded to multiple fans who tweeted about the dream match. First, he wrote that the bout depended on money. KENTA then emphasized that he doesn't care who has the original G2S (Go To Sleep), as there's only one truth. He wrote that he would need the correct amount of money to make the match happen. Otherwise, KENTA stated that he doesn't need to have the match.
I don’t really care who’s the original G2S. There is only one truth.

If you want me to have match against Punk, Give Me correct amount of money. Other than that I don’t need to have this match. Seriously. https://t.co/5eGIjN5bFO
