Kerry Morton Believes He Will Win MLW Gold In The Near Future

Kerry Morton plans on returning to MLW.

The son of Ricky Morton has been making his own way in the wrestling world, competing for promotions such as MLW, GCW, and the NWA. Earlier this year, Kerry teamed up with his father at MLW SuperFight against Marshall and Ross Von Erich.

Though they came up short that night, while speaking with Andrew Thompson, Morton expressed his desire to return to MLW and capture championship gold.

“Major League Wrestling was such a fun time to be at, especially at the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Rock ‘n’ Roll and I tore it up. We had a fun, fun time. We tag-teamed together, we went against the Von Erichs, and those guys are the real deal. Unfortunately, the favor was not in our hands that night but never say never. We’re coming back, and we’re coming back to MLW to look at some tag team gold. I promise you, I assure you one thing, Kerry Morton will have some MLW gold in the near future," Morton said.

Kerry recently won a Six-Man Scramble on NWA USA to earn another shot at Homicide's Junior Heavyweight Title. They will face off at NWA Hard Times on November 12. You can view the updated card for the event by clicking here.
