Kevin Nash won't sign things for adults at the airport.
In recent months, multiple videos of WWE stars and other wrestlers being swarmed at airports have gone viral, and people camp out and pressure them to sign numerous items, seemingly so they can go sell them and make a profit. Rhea Ripley, Kevin Owens, Alexa Bliss, and Liv Morgan are just a few examples.
Speaking with co-host Sean Oliver on Kliq This, Nash was asked to share his thoughts on wrestlers getting swarmed by people who want them to sign things at airports. He made it clear that he wouldn't sign something for an adult.
“I won’t do it for an adult. I know how much those things go for. It used to be you could sign your name on then with a paint pen, [but] they got shit that they can just wipe that right off it. To me, it’s like if you’re carrying a Funko, I ain’t signing it. So don’t carry a Funko," Nash said.
Nash was then asked whether this mindset applied to a signing event. He noted that going to signings is the only reason that he goes to the airport, so he wouldn't sign something for free when he's there. Nash joked that the chance of that happening was as good as CM Punk main-eventing WWE Raw when he was backstage at the show.
"Yeah, you’ll see a price listing in of it. The only reason I’m at the airport is because I’m going to a signing. So your chances of getting something for free, being the reason that I’m leaving my fucking house in the first place, is about as good a chance of fucking Punk being the main event on Raw Monday when he showed up in the parking lot," Nash said.
