Copeland made his debut for All Elite Wrestling at the WrestleDream pay-per-view, as he saved Sting from a Con-Chair-To, fending off Nick Wayne, Luchasaurus, and Christian Cage.

Copeland is set to make his in-ring debut for the company on the October 10 edition of Dynamite, where he will face Luchasaurus in singles action.

On the latest episode of Kliq This, Nash said that AEW should benefit from bringing in somebody like Copeland, as he could help out with psychology and storytelling.

“I pray that Edge doesn’t get hurt, but he’s a great addition. Their style is so different than the WWE’s style, it’s kind of more of an indie-riffic. I think by bringing in somebody like Edge, he has always worked a main event style, he’s been at the top of the WWE for a very long time. I think you put him with some of the younger guys and stop some of the bad habits that the other guys have and use a little bit more psychology and better storytelling.”
