Kevin Owens and Santos Escobar have advanced to the finals in the WWE United States Championship top challenger tournament.
The tournament semifinals took place on December 22. On that night, Kevin Owens defeated NXT's Carmelo Hayes with a Stunner to advance. He will face Santos Escobar on January 5's WWE SmackDown: New Year's Revolution.
Santa Escobar Advanced by defeating Bobby Lashley on December 22. Escobar had help from Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza. Thanks to their distraction, Escobar rolled up Lashley.
The winner of their match on January 5 will go on to challenge Logan Paul for the WWE United States Championship at WWE Royal Rumble.
