Kevin Owens and Randy Orton are set to clash at WrestleMania 41 in a bout that has been brewing since the end of 2024 when Owens put Orton out of action with a piledriver.
Orton returned at WWE Elimination Chamber to confront Owens after he had defeated Sami Zayn.
Speaking to Cousin Sal on Against All Odds, Owens previewed his bout with Orton.
"Wrestlers in general react weirdly to things that normal people would just call the authorities for. We just decide to make it way worse and that's what we're going to do at WrestleMania. Him wanting to punt my head off not withstanding, it's actually a real thrill to be at WrestleMania against Randy Orton, a guy I looked up to and watched for so long. It's just too bad I'm gonna have to put him in a wheelchair there," said Owens.
The interview was recorded on April 1st as Owens referenced Orton's birthday as being "today."
