Kevin Owens says he was doing selfie promos before other wrestlers in WWE.
At a recent Smackdown Live Event, Kevin Owens grabbed a camera and began to scream into it. He said he is not getting the attention for innovating how wrestlers deliver promos.
"Is this the new thing everyone does? Talk to their phone like that? It's not like I was doing this stuff six years ago. But I don't get any credit for that, just like I don't get any credit for being one of the most decorated superstars of the last two years in WWE," said Owens.
The video of Owens' tirade is featured below.

What Owens is referencing is the addition of selfie-style promos from Raw and Smackdown. The promos saw an uptick after Mojo Rawley did one leading up to his match at WWE Clash of the Champions.

Owens will face Sami Zayn, AJ Styles, Dolph Ziggler, and Baron Corbin at WWE Fastlane in a fatal five-way match for Styles' WWE Championship. Fightful will have live coverage and a recapping podcast.
