“With the heaviest of hearts, we are devastated to have to report the passing of the legendary Kevin Sullivan. May he RIP and his family, friends and fans find comfort in how much he was loved.”

In July, a GoFundMe was started in order to help Sullivan with health issues stemming from an accident at a signing in May. The campaign would be a success and would hit it's goal. Sullivan not only worked as a talent for WCW, but also worked as a booker for the promotion for some time. Kevin would retire from full time wrestling in 1997.

As well as WCW, Sullivan also made appearances in TNA, Ring Of Honor, Jim Crockett Promotions and more over the years and was known by "The Taskmaster" and "Prince Of Darkness" monikers. Sullivan was inducted into the NWA Hall Of Fame in 2014.

All at Fightful express their deepest condolences to Sullivan's family and friends at that time.
