Killer Kross Calls Out Batista For A Future BloodSport Fight

No stranger to controversy in 2019, Killer Kross might have just sent shockwaves through the wrestling industry once again.

After defeating Nick Gage at Josh Barnett's BloodSport 2, the Canadian Superstar got on the microphone and challenged WWE legend, Batista to a fight at a future BloodSport event.

Batista is no stranger to environments such as BloodSport as he has competed victoriously in MMA fights in the past and has trained with the likes of Josh Rafferty, the man who has trained with Jake Hager, and even Davey Boy Smith Jr., who is fighting on tonight's event.

This is also not the first time Killer Kross has called out it a WWE legend. During an interview earlier this summer with WrestleZone, Killer Kross openly stated that he would like a match with The Rock, while also name dropping Batista once more, “There’s quite a few, but the first one and I’ll mention, and it’s one that not many people are expecting, is definitely The Rock," he proclaimed. "I think that The Rock is a very unique figure in the industry. He’s not the first person that comes to mind for people, some people think Brock Lesnar or Seth Rollins. All those are matches that I’d love to have, and I do believe that I will get them eventually. But, I think there’s something very special about an individual who can leave this business and get into other streams of entertainment and do well there. Be successful and then come back, bringing a whole new demographic who don’t even watch wrestling with him. When somebody brings new eyes and new fans to the business, that helps all of us. Being in the ring with someone like that is key to becoming a household name, and that’s really the endgame. Dave Bautista, The Rock, Lesnar, that’s the level I’d like to be.”

Whether or not Batista will respond remains to be seen, but Kross has thrown the gauntlet down and continues to make sure the pro wrestling world stays on its toes.
