After getting caught up in a Mysterio Family affair, King Corbin wants another chance to face Murphy next week and this time, he says he will come prepared.
Originally, Corbin was supposed to go one-on-one with Otis on the November 27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. However, Otis was taken out by a seething Jey Uso. Later in the evening, Rey Mysterio, his children, and Murphy were being interviewed by Kayla Braxton when they were interrupted by the 2019 King of the Ring. Corbin said that Murphy was just trying to leech off of the Mysterio name while it still had value, further stating that there is no way Murphy would be a part of the next Mysterio family Thanksgiving.
This interaction led to a match between Murphy and Corbin which, in all honesty, Corbin had control of. The Mysterio family would constantly interrupt and inevitably allow Murphy to get the victory leading to Corbin demanding a rematch for next week, promising to be prepared for another set of Mysterio family interruptions.
It was certainly a family affair... but @WWE_Murphy picks up the win any way you slice it on #SmackDown! @BaronCorbinWWE @reymysterio @DomMysterio35 @11Aalyah pic.twitter.com/gZLQ26LFYj
