Kofi Mania ran wild over MetLife Stadium.
The eleven year journey of Kofi Kingston went to the next level when he defeated Daniel Bryan to become WWE Champion after being on the hunt for the title since February. The finish of the match saw Kofi Kingston execute his "Trouble In Paradise" finisher to put Bryan away to capture his first WWE Championship.

Xavier Woods and Big E immediately joined Kofi Kingston in the ring and the crowd inside MetLife went ballistic as Kofi hoisted up the WWE Title. Woods and Big E then revealed that there would be no need for Kofi to hold up Bryan's hemp title as they brought back the championship design prior to Bryan's capturing of the belt.

Kofi Kingston was joined in the ring by his children. Those in the ring, Kofi's family in the second row and the 70,000-plus in MetLife Stadium celebrated as Kofi Kingston is now the new WWE Champion.
