It is unknown when Kingston will return to the ring.

From Kofi:

Surgery went very well! Of course I had to FaceTime the boyzzz upon regaining consciousness…Very little recollection of the conversation, lol.

Thanks to everybody who sent me a message! I appreciate it more than you know! I’m home now. Let the road to recovery begin!

Kingston underwent surgery on March 17. He suffered the injury during the March 3 episode of WWE SmackDown during a brawl with Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, LA Knight, and Karrion Kross.

Kingston was scheduled to compete in a fatal five-way bout against the aforementioned competitors on the March 10 episode of WWE SmackDown where the winner would earn a shot at Gunther at the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 39.

He was replaced by Xavier Woods in the match.

Fightful wishes Kofi the best in his recovery.
