Following his title win, during interviews and media runs Kofi would shut down the idea that his New Day stable-mate Big E would turn on him now that he has the top prize in WWE. While speaking with 'National Sport', Kofi stated that it is still fun for him to be with New Day and feels that they have a lot of ground to cover as a group.

"We have been together for five years and it is still a lot of fun. I think we still have a lot of ground to cover and still there are so many things we can do and make people laugh, smile and have a good time. To be able to have this success with two people I consider brothers, and I mean that when I say it, has been amazing. The longer we are together the rarer the relationship I realize we have." He explained.

Kofi Kingston traveled to Ghana, West Africa recently for the first time since he was a teenager and to take a look at photos from Kofi's visit, head over to WWE.com.
