Konnan To Induct Rey Mysterio Into WWE Hall Of Fame

Konnan will induct Rey Mysterio into the WWE Hall of Fame.

On March 10, Rey Mysterio was announced as the first inductee into the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame. The Los Angeles Times later reported that he would be inducted by his long-time friend and former tag team partner, Konnan will be inducting him into the Hall of Fame.

Konnan, who is Dominik Mysterio's godfather, often helped Rey Mysterio get bookings in the United States early in his career, and they were paired together in WCW as part of The Filthy Animals.

Mysterio is considered by WWE and many fans as the Greatest of All Time among masked wrestlers. He is a former WWE Champion, WWE World Heavyweight Champion, WWE Cruiserweight Champion, WWE Intercontinental Champion, WWE Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Champion, and WWE United States Champion. He is also a former WWE Royal Rumble winner.

Outside of WWE, he held titles in WCW, Lucha Underground, AAA, and more promotions.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will air on Peacock on March 31, following WWE SmackDown.
