A WWE superstar officiated the marriage of the Legit Boss.
According to Pro Wresling Sheet, Konnor of The Ascension recently officiated Sasha Banks nuptials.
Sources close to the wrestler tell us he jumped at the chance to help Sasha, who is like a sister to him, and was honored when the couple asked if he’d preside over the ceremony, per Pro Wrestling Sheet.
Banks reportedly married fiancée and longtime boyfriend Sarath Ton in early August. Ton is a costume designer with WWE, according to his personal Facebook page. Prior to his seamster role, he was a wrestler.
Konnor, real name Ryan Parmeter, lives in Orlando with his wife Kristin Eubanks. Eubanks spent time in Florida Championship Wrestling and had a brief run in WWE. Her in ring name is Krissy Vaine.
During season three of NXT in 2010, an announcement was made that Konnor, then under the ring name Conor O’Brian, would appear in season four of the developmental show. He made his in-ring debut teaming with Alberto Del Rio, defeating Derrick Bateman and Bateman's mentor, now SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan.
Konnor, alongside Viktor, made his main roster debut on the September 9, 2014 edition of Main Event, with the duo defeating Los Matadores. in a tag-team match to promote their NXT tag title defense against the team of Kalisto and Sin Cara at the NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way event. The Ascension lost their titles to the Lucha Dragons after a title reign of 344 days.
The Ascension was drafted 41st overall in the WWE Draft on July 19. The tag team was drafted by the SmackDown Live brand. The duo made there SmackDown Live debut July 26.
