Konosuke Takeshita is coming back to America.
Takeshita spent most of 2022 wrestling in America, competing for various independent promotions and AEW and falling in love with Cinnabon. He returns to Japan in August to compete for his home promotion DDT Pro Wrestling.
In October, Takeshita is set to return to America and AEW, and he wants to bring the KO-D Openweight Championship, which is currently held by Kazusada Higuchi with him. Takeshita will challenge for the title on September 25 at DDT Pro Who’s Gonna TOP?
Take: I feel like this might be the last match before I go back there in Oct. Feels like the start of a new era in DDT. But I think Higuchi v Takeshita will bring about a new era in JP Wrestling. I'll bring this title back to AEW
