Kris Statlander On CM Punk's Return To AEW: If It Is Going To Help Us Out, Then That's Fantastic

Kris Statlander comments on CM Punk's return to All Elite Wrestling.

On Saturday, June 17, CM Punk will return to AEW after being away from the company for nearly ten months. Punk was suspended from the promotion after being involved in a backstage fight with The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks). He has also been rehabbing from a number of injuries he suffered during his match at All Out with Jon Moxley.

In a new interview with Nick Hausman, Statlander was asked about the return of the former AEW World Champion.

"I've always had decent interactions with him. If this is going to help us out, then that's fantastic. I can only hope that with all these announcements going on and this new show starting that we only experience positive outcomes from this. Hopefully no negativity happens. We all get frustrated with our jobs sometimes, and that's understandable, but I do hope that everything that we do going forward is for the better of AEW, and I think that's the most important thing."

Elsewhere in the interview, Statlander talked about AEW All In, the promotion's upcoming show at Wembley Stadium. Fans can learn more here.
